A Rough Start, But A Fresh Start For Nona: Nona was a county foster request that I picked up last week after she had been removed from her unsatisfactory home. The County veterinarian did not believe that she could survive in the shelter. Nona was started on antibiotics on Thursday but had a steady decline over the weekend and was back at the vet early Sunday morning where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. New meds are already having a positive effect and, as of 8:00 am this morning the County has released their hold. As soon as she’s 100% she will be looking for a loving, forever family.
